On the 3rd May 2026 Vicente Velez Saez, Michael's father', passed away at the age of 93. While of an advanced age, his passing was sudden and unexpected.

Vicente was a life-long Real Madrid supporter and endured many highs and lows in his passion. He lived everything about the club and always talked with a great passion about it. There was great joy when the club did well and great anger when it didn't. He bled white!

Vicente passed that passion to Michael and many a heated conversation was held by them talking about the team's performance; lately, about the performance of the president. It was that passion that led Michael to create this website, and will always be a tribute to Vicente, as much as, Real Madrid.

Heaven is a little more white now as he has joined his father, brother and nephew as they cheer together again their club.
